I caught him, with Spring in his step, chewing.
Chewing it over, mulling whine and rhyme together.

A stream of punctuation spluttered from his mouth
Remenants of long masticated written confessions;
He wanted to absorb me, ripping snippets of my mind
From the confines of their parchmented cages.

I swallowed and he digested, I digress - -

He stole a moment of my memories - painted vermillion
and sucked it clean, picking my emotions from his teeth
and letting the heady scent of my anguish fill him

Stolen moments that we stole from our lovers
We betrayed them - their trust and their time,
Our defenses were set for the jury and judge
We would weep a little and state 'passion crime'.

So we cheated and lied in the name of love
Until one night the name of love spilled out
The names of my polar opposite lovers...

A click, a gulp, a choke,
A movement of guhs and kuhs
Chik and the sickly Back-of-your-throat noise
That only happens when you have flu.

A squelch, a pop, a flip,
A last desperate gasp for freedom
Wretching and wrenching limbs apart
And disassociating from the reality of life.

A flurry, a flourish, a forrest
Of white feathers fluttering
A too-delicate beauty for such violent acts
They pirouette into a carpet for the tired actors.

A thoughtless bird in the road
Thinks of nothing, a crunch,
Their mind a filthy blank streak of red

Wilting Night Lilies He drew her as the sun went down,
Crawling over every curve with his pencil
Admiringly angling the depiction
To show her in the best light
(even though there was none.)

She called him a fool and rolled into sleep
and still he drew, drawing conclusions,
Drawing the curtains, drawing his lover
and carressing the object of his affection.
(the one, the only one.)

He stirred her in the early hours,
when the shadows went creeping home to rest,
showed her eagerly his tracings of her curves,
and begged for her criticism.

Hey guys, I'm finally ready to edit the artist description of all my deviations with my new copyright note (under the new name) so to help me make sure I get everything, once the copyright disclaimers been edited on a deviation itll go into temporary storage. To my knowledge, when I bring them back out it won't show as a new deviation in your message centers so you won't get flooded with them, but I thought I'd let you guys know. It's not disappearing, I'm just sorting through it! (In fact I might reupload more old work soon)

Hope you are well, especially DIS, LL and Leo.
